I tried to post three times today on our Easter Vigil blog "Deep Waters." Every time, after my prose was so eloquently written, the dang thing errored on me. Three times no less. I can't believe it. It was frustrating after the first time. Crazy making after the second. Laughable after the third. I am actually amazed I have something on there at all.
So here's the insight, as little as it is. Even though I knew Blogspot was having publishing issues today, I refused, until the very last time, to post on a word doc and then cut and paste into the blog post. I discovered something about blogging that I didn't know before, the post box is a real person to me. Microsoft Word is not. Word is flat and one dimensional. Blog posting is somehow two, three or maybe even four dimensional. When I post within the confines of this square, I am really talking to somebody--you! I may not know your name or where you live. We may never meet this side of heaven, but you are really real to me.The Word doc does not to that for me.
SO to blogging, and to you my friend, whoever you are, and wherever you came from, welcome, welcome, welcome. You are real to me as well...you!

The journey . . . persistent . . . AND REAL . . . encouraging me to continue to CUT AND PASTE
