Another Good-bye :.

I said good-bye to another friend in ministry today--Paul Baudhuin.

Paul and I met three plus years ago as he came on as a youth pastor at Open Door. We made a quick heart connection as hunted me down as as resident Ash Wednesday guru (all those years in the Catholic Church has given me a distinctive edge on liturgical feasts). We have had a burgeoning friendship over the years as supportive peers in things called "church." It has been a joy to work alongside him and watch him be Paul.

I will miss him as he goes forth into a new area of ministry on the edge of the St. Croix River.

Blessings to you Paul, Betsy and kids. You will be missed. Great hope and promise lies ahead. Keep your eyes wide open to it. Peace.
